MAROC PET FOOD · Moroccan manufacturer of dry pet food
Company

One family, one standard passed on

MAROC PET FOOD was not born from a market study but from everyday life: that of a Moroccan family that has shared its home with more than twenty pets for decades. The company is the industrial expression of a standard that was first personal — and has grown, over time, into a project serving an entire market.

Our story

From daily care to an industrial standard

Before becoming a manufacturer, MAROC PET FOOD was driven by a family for whom animal welfare is anything but abstract. For decades, they have cared every day for more than twenty pets — feeding them, treating them, watching them, year after year. This long experience produced a simple conviction, almost obvious from the inside: what we feed an animal deserves the same attention as what we choose for our own family.

For a long time, this standard remained a private matter — a way of being a pet owner rather than a business plan. But by closely observing the Moroccan pet food market — its standards, its limits, its products often imported or poorly suited to local realities — the same family reached a conclusion shared by a growing number of Moroccan owners: demand for healthy, well-designed food built around animals’ real needs is growing faster than the supply available locally.

That observation, grounded in decades of experience, gave rise to the industrial project. Not to replace a personal passion with a commercial activity, but to give it structure: a dedicated production site, a documented formulation method, and quality control applied with the same rigour one uses at home — at the scale of a company.

“What we refused to give our own animals, we refuse to offer to anyone else’s.”
  • Personal, day-to-day experience of animal care — not just a market opportunity spotted after the fact
  • A local answer to growing Moroccan demand for healthy, well-designed pet food
  • A standard of rigour carried from the family home to the factory, from raw material selection to quality control
  • A company built to last, with the same patience that caring for an animal requires over the long term
From conviction to method

A family standard, an industrial organisation

Three concrete pillars put this standard into practice every day.

Formulation by design, not by default

Every formula is developed with the question that has always guided the family: would I give this to my own animals? That question steers the work of our formulation team, from raw material selection to the tests carried out before approval.

Traceability as a matter of course

Knowing exactly what goes into a product is not, for us, a regulatory box to tick: it is the most natural question any attentive owner asks. Our quality and traceability organisation follows directly from it.

A company serving this standard

We do not sell directly to pet owners: we put this standard at the service of brands, distributors and retailers who also want to offer food that lives up to what their customers expect for their animals.

Positioning

What sets us apart

Three convictions guide the way we build the company.

A standard born of experience, not marketing

Formulating healthy food is not a sales pitch for us: it is the natural extension of what we have demanded for decades for our own animals.

100% B2B positioning

We put this standard at the service of brands, distributors and retailers — never competing directly with our partners on the end market.

Rooted in Morocco

Producing locally to meet, with the lead times and responsiveness of nearby manufacturing, a Moroccan demand we know from the inside — as owners before being manufacturers.
